My memories of Bob stem from our childhood. Robert (as he was known then) and I were second cousins born in the same year. We were practically brought up together, our families living in the same street in Stratford. I can remember many hours of play in either Bob's grandparents' or my parents' back garden. We were a very close-knit family and as such were always in each others' houses. It was a very happy childhood.
Inevitably we drifted apart as families do in time but never lost complete contact and I still hold those memories close to my heart.
I remember Bob as a very happy, carefree child who grew into an extremely humorous and loving family man who I know will be greatly missed.
